The marriage between Aurora and her husband, the model son-in-law Joonas, is anything but perfect. On the eve of their wedding anniversary their love life refuses to click, and then they are confronted by the assembled guests, inquisitive and religious-minded as they are, about their childlessness. What they don’t know, however, is that Aurora is carrying a secret that slowly threatens to come to light: Lenny, free spirit, survival artist, and theatre director, was there for her when Joonas wasn't. The chance encounter developed into a romantic affair, one that opened Aurora’s eyes to other facets of life and allowed her to escape religious constraints and familial expectations: crashing a corporate party while drunk, cursing the Creator in a church, dreaming of a carefree existence. Yet what began without remorse increasingly proved a torment and a desperate, impossible love for Aurora, who had always wanted to please Joonas and her father. A chapter that would appear to have long been closed – until an unexpected guest appears at the celebrations. A nightmarish drama that, with its leaps in time and flashbacks, weaves itself into the web of lies and emotional turmoil of its increasingly desperate anti-heroine, placing the audience in the precarious position of those closest to her. What happened when? What actually happened? And what will happen? Accompanied by the constant feeling of being witness to an unstoppable movement set on collision course.
