After years of waiting, Olena finally reaches the moment of truth. Together with her daughter and partner, she arrives in eastern Ukraine, where a mass grave has been uncovered. DNA tests may clarify the fate of her missing husband – but on site, doubts arise, reflecting on the human ability to bear the past while moving forward.

Damian Kosowski - Damian Kosowski, born in 1993 in Radomsko. Graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts at and the Film School in Lodz at the Faculty of Film Directing. Scholarship holder at the Higher School of Fine Arts in Bratislava (VŠVU), INSAS Film and Theater School in Brussels and the “Was On Screen” program in France. His school diploma titled “THE CREATURE” won the Silver Tadpole at the 2022 EnergaCamerimage festival and the award for best film from the ‘shortlist’ section at the 2023 New Horizons festival.
