Friends Kornel and Max set off together with the former's uncle Dionizy in search of grandpa Hieronim's treasure chest. On the way however they find themselves pursued not only by the police and Kornel's babysitter, but also two hoodlums who likewise suspect the existence of a treasure trove in the vicinity.

The unexpected appearance of uncle Dionizy marks the beginning of the adventure of a lifetime for nephew Kornel and the youngster's friend Max: Dionizy recounts how grandpa Hieronim managed to conceal the family valuables during the Second World War. The trio resolve to recover the family property, starting with grandfather's boots, containing as they do a vital clue. They soon find themselves the object of a hunt however. A fast-paced adventure comedy for the whole family. AB

Tomasz Szafrański - born 1977 in Bydgoszcz, Poland. A graduate in film directing from the Radio and TV Faculty of the University of Silesia in Katowice, he has directed TV-, short, and feature films, and is also an award-winning screenwriter. In addition Szafrański also works as a translator of professional film literature.
